VEB.RF says to finance 3.2 bln rbl construction of schools
MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- Russian state development corporation VEB.RF has approved allocation of 3.2 billion rubles to the ProSchool development project for construction of 15 schools in the regions, the corporation said on Tuesday.
“VEB.RF has decided to finance the first 15 school construction projects in Russia’s regions, … approving (funds in the amount of) up to 3.2 billion rubles,” VEB.RF said, citing deputy CEO Yury Korsun.
At the first stage, one school will be built in the regions of Kaluga and Samara each, 3 schools in the Belgorod Region, 10 educational facilities are to be built in Buryatia.
Since the introduction of the Education Development state program, new schools in Russia can now be built using subsidies from the federal budget on the principles of public-private partnership.
